WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?
VCNA is seeking an experienced Internal Auditor to join our Internal Audit team and contribute to audits that strengthen governance, risk management, and internal controls across the organization. This role offers the opportunity to work on a wide range of audit and advisory engagements, apply technical and analytical expertise, and collaborate closely with senior auditors and business stakeholders. The Internal Auditor will gain exposure to diverse operations and processes while developing technical and leadership skills to support future career growth within a global organization.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
• Participate in the planning, execution, and reporting of internal audits in accordance with Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) standards and internal audit methodology.
• Assist in identifying business risks, evaluating the effectiveness of internal controls, and providing practical, value‑added recommendations to management.
• Utilize data analytics and audit tools (such as ACL, Power BI, and TeamMate) to improve audit coverage, efficiency, and insight.
• Prepare clear and well‑organized working papers to support audit conclusions.
• Contribute to audit reports, presentations, and communications for senior management and stakeholders.
• Collaborate closely with senior auditors and business partners to ensure audits are delivered on time and with high quality.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the continuous evolution of internal audit practices.
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
• CPA, CIA, or equivalent professional certification completed or in progress (preferred).
• 3–5 years of experience in internal audit, external audit, or a related role; experience with complex audits is considered an asset.
• Previous experience at a Big 4 audit firm is highly preferred.
• Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with data analytics tools (ACL, Power BI) and audit management systems (TeamMate) is desirable.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
• Adaptable, collaborative, and comfortable working with cross‑functional teams.
• English required; French is considered a major asset.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% domestically and internationally.

Salary Range: $80,000 - $95,000
