Heavy Equipment Operator

Canada Building Materials (CBM) Aggregates division is a leading producer of high-quality aggregate products. Quality products and safety are mandatory at CBM, and we are looking for a new Heavy Equipment & Plant Operator to join our team!

Job Duties:

• Perform pre-operational inspections of equipment
• Operate skid steers, crushers etc. in a safe manner
• Communicate any concerns to supervisor or foreman
• Participate in the overall maintenance, upkeep, and safety of the yard

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Safety conscious and knowledgeable about health and safety practices
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to operate heavy equipment
• Previous completion of the applicable MCTU training is an asset
• Previous experience in similar role is an asset
• Ability to work 12 hour overnight shifts (6pm-6am)
• Access to reliable transportation (site is not accessible by public transit)
