Reporting to the Quarry Manager, the Mobile Equipment Mechanical Supervisor is responsible for implementing the material and human resources required for machine maintenance and/or repair, in compliance with safety, quality and environmental regulations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Plan and coordinate the activities of quarry and subcontracted personnel, to ensure the efficiency of the mobile equipment and pumping maintenance department;
Plan and control vehicle maintenance, repairs and inspections, while ensuring compliance with applicable regulations;
Establish the mobile equipment maintenance budget while ensuring inventory management is aligned with service demand;
Maintain technical records specific to each unit;
Manage fuel, lubricants, tires, dewatering system and other quarry requirements.

REQUIREMENTS

DEC in heavy machinery mechanics and/or budget management, supply management, maintenance management, etc;
At least ten years' relevant experience;
Knowledge of GMAO's (SAP) software will be considered an asset.
