Reporting to the Production Department Manager, the Production Supervisor is responsible for monitoring operational performance, defining and optimizing production activities, for the team under your responsibility.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Production Organization

Maintain order and clean work environment (5S);
Ensure the application and observance of best practices in occupational health and safety, as well as environmental standards; (IsoVision)
Coordinate production and maintenance activities on his shift, plan and direct resources (cement operators, mechanics, electrotechnicians, day labourers and sub-contractor) based on daily priorities and follow up on actions;
Ensure rigorous monitoring of time management and approve daily hours workedKronos)
Ensure rigorous follow-up of leave requests from team members in collaboration with the production planner.
Ensure strict follow-up of inspection slips for workshops, mobile vehicles, etc.
Ensure a 80 / 20 field presence
Ensure sound management of equipment, tools and motor vehicles.
Produce work permits, hot work, confined space;
Manage rescue team on shift
Ensure compliance with plant technical targets, t/h, Kcal/h, Kw/h, on shift;
Ensuring that the production, repair and re-start of production schedules of the various plants are respected;
Ensuring regular inventory recording;
Follow up and traceability of cases; (RtDuet)
Monitoring and actively participating in improving operational procedures and work instructions;
Monitor the validity of the OHS training of members under its supervision.
Perform OHS, environment and productivity audits on a regular basis.
Analyze trends and assess the objectives set for the processes, proposing a set of measures to correct the identified gaps;
Review and analyze quality control data (raw grinding, pyrolysis, and cement grinding);
Evaluate equipment performance variances and jointly define the measures needed to correct them, propose optimization measures to the equipment reliability committee;
Produce an overall list of repairs and inspections (manufacturing), performed on his shift; (Shift Report and Log)
Notify and report environmental spills, coordinate work and monitor actions, preventive and corrective;
Successfully complete the supervisory training;
Collaborate regularly and effectively with other departments to ensure priorities are met;
Participate in meetings and work together to implement the maintenance and operations action plan;
Maintain and update the various data for analysis purposes;
Lead the analysis of incidents with the Operators;
All other related duties;
Personnel supervision

Coaching the Cement Plant Operators, under his responsibility, on work procedures and instructions;
Identify training needs, plan, ensure and improve the technical development of cement plant operators under his/her responsibility, through training sessions;
Monitor performance and performance of team members on a quarterly basis.
Develop an action plan to improve team effectiveness and performance;
Ensure active participation in various training activities;
Ensure the disciplinary management of the employees in office;
Ensure the transfer of information when crossing shifts;
Apply communication mechanisms, communicate messages from management clearly and precisely to employees under its supervision;
Establish harmonious working conditions that foster an adequate climate;
Manage time with different payroll software.
Manage annual vacation and work team needs.
