Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the Cement Plant Operator is responsible for inspections and operating the production process in the field.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform preventive inspections of equipment, silo extraction system (raw meal, clinker, cement) and preheater tower (cyclone);
Perform simple equipment parametering and cleaning;
Inspect and monitor the production process for the treatment of raw materials, the manufacture of raw materials, clinker, cement, fuel, reception and shipping and cement, by meeting performance indicators;
Promote a safe work environment by actively participating in and complying with all plant safety programs.
Perform general manual work in the plant and quarry as directed.
General housekeeping, including but not limited to shoveling, sweeping, vacuuming, martelage, etc.
Be prepared for a confined space rescue and / or work at height, if required.
Report any safety issues / concerns to your immediate supervisor without delay.
Report any environmental issues to your immediate supervisor without delay.
Actively participate in the continuous improvement process, write reports on the cleanliness of the various plants in the plant
Manipulating large parts and piping using various types of equipment;
Ensure the cleanliness of the plant and the good condition of the tools and work equipment;
Cleaning of production equipment, conveyors, screens, etc.
Be called upon to work at heights,
Drive vehicles and operate small equipment (pickup truck, cherry picker, forklift, tanker, wheel loader, tracked loader, bobcat, vacuum truck, etc.) to remove snow, raw materials or other materials from buildings, the ground or equipment.
Perform equipment uncurring tasks such as filters, falls, hoppers, conveyors and other equipment.
Maintain good communication and collaborate to improve and keep the activities of his department running smoothly.
Helping labourers when needed.
Perform any other related duties;

REQUIREMENTS
DEC in industrial engineering, DEP in industrial engineering, AEC in chemical processes, chemical engineering, process control, DEP in mechanics and/or welding
2-4 years of experience as a process control operator, depending on the level of education;
Help with IT tools.
Hold a valid driver's licence without restriction
