Summary/Job Scope: Bulker Driver
Purpose of Position: Drive cement bulker to Chicago Terminal to pick up product and return to designated plants for unloading.
Key Responsibilities:
- Driving up to an 80,000 lb vehicle
- Driving a tractor with a 42 ft trailer
- Loading cement into trailer at cement plants
- Delivering to our locations and unload cement
- Cleaning truck
Qualifications and Education:
- Class A CDL
- CDL Classification "Non-Excepted Interstate"
- Manual Transmission Commercial Vehicle Experience* (must not have a restricted license)
- Clear MVR
- Successfully pass DOT physical
- Good work history
- DOT required 10 year previous employer history
- Eligible for a TWIC card
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to pass Department of Transportation (DOT) physical requirements.
- Climbing appx. 13 ft onto top of trailer
- Hooking product pipe to truck and plant
- Occasional/frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Occasional/frequent reaching, grabbing, pushing, and pulling.
- Occasional/frequent stooping, squatting, bending, and kneeling.
- Occasional pushing and pulling.
- Occasional/frequent twisting.
