Summary/Job Scope:
Assume all sales related responsibilities that are associated with delivering on the District’s business goals and objectives. This includes establishing yourself as a leader in the industry and successfully connecting St Marys Cement’s business offerings and values to the market. The ability to build strong relationships and understand customer and market needs is critical to the success of the position. Our ideal candidate would have a strong background in Cement, Concrete, and/or construction materials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Excel in the areas of teamwork, customer focus, and leadership, for the purpose of ensuring alignment with the organization's vision and critical success factors.
- Responsible and accountable for managing the territory’s KPI’s such as Price, Market Share, Accounts Receivables, SG&A, and others.
- Provide a high level of service to our existing accounts. The ability to tactfully address customer concerns or challenges, along with the aptitude to identify and support beneficial business opportunities are required.
- Expand St Marys Cement customer base by maintaining good account and prospect relationships and seeking/identifying/acting on sales leads acquired from multiple sources.
- Promote the use of cement in the construction industry via trade organizations and general promotion. This includes the promotion of the downstream cement based applications (Ready Mix, Paving, Precast, Masonry, Etc.) to ensure strong industry health and future construction spend.
- Perform administrative tasks related to the job including managing CRM tools, expense reports, forecasting, sales reports, and overall correspondence as required.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Four year college or university program certificate. Two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Working knowledge of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, are required.
- Relationship selling approach for success. The ability to quickly build trust and confidence with the market is a key success factor.
- Travel is an integral part of this position and overnight trips are an occasional requirement. Daily travel throughout the territory.
- Valid driver’s license is required.
- ACI Certification or other technical/industry certifications a plus.

Salary Range: $80,000-$100,000
