Summary: The purpose of this position is to efficiently coordinate the shipments out of the plant to customers and terminals.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Receive bag or bulk orders from customers by phone/email/fax.

- Contact carrier dispatch and enter customer information into loading system.

- Assign customer/driver to appropriate scale.

- Reconcile bills of lading with SAP

- Retrieve records for customers and carrier inquires; process return credits as needed.

- Monitor bag inventory at off-site locations; coordinate bag delivery as needed.

- Coordinate trucking shipments to customers/terminals.

- Verify silo inventory with operations as required/daily.

- Work closely with bulk loaders and pack house personnel on inventory and silo allocation.

- Investigate quality concerns involving necessary departments as needed.

- Coordinate daily/weekly inventory and product availability with the plant and terminals.

- Provide back up support for the logistic coordinators.

- Provide analytical reports with analysis to sales and marketing.
- Prepare customs paperwork for US/Canadian shipping.
- Provide exceptional customer service.

Education and/or Experience:
Associate degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of data entry, Internet software, Inventory software, and Microsoft Office.
