TITLE: Corporate Predictive Specialist
DUTIES: Assist in the development and implementation of the predictive data collection and analysis program. Develop through research, training, application, and maintenance department teamwork, a program with sufficient level of expertise to detect problems, identify root causes, predict, and subsequently avoid equipment failures. Act as main contact to any/all outside online vibration data collection and analysis providers. Analyze data to determine all potential problems to root cause. Formulate and deliver machinery health report covering all VCNA assets, root causes and remedial action plans. Manage action plans and their implementation to conclusion with each local facility and the corporate team. Develop treatment, in short, medium, and long term of rotating equipment. Determine through analysis the equipment in critical condition. Undertake manual collection of satellite vibration data collection in order to fulfill predictive program requirements. Assist the Corporate Maintenance Manager and the Corporate Reliability Engineer to obtain funds for improvement projects within the maintenance departments. EOE
REQTS: Must have a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering or a related field plus seven (7) years of experience in the position offered, as a Preventive Maintenance Engineer, or a related position in a large cement production manufacturing facility. Must have seven (7) years of experience with all of the following: Performing machinery vibration data collection and analysis including data acquisition, time waveform analysis, frequency/phase analysis, balancing, and fault frequency diagnosis; Interpreting the results from Non-Destructive Testing programs (NDT) including ultrasonic, liquid penetrant, magnetic particle, eddy current, phase array, and thermography and applying the results to formulate resolution action plans; Performing oil analysis (tribology) including wear and lubricant chemistry, fluid containment (seals and gaskets), load, friction wear and lubrication requirements, and lubrication regimes and applying the results to formulate and optimize lubrication maintenance plans; Maintaining cement plant machinery including limestone crushers, raw mills, kilns, coolers, ball mills, pumps, compressors, and conveying equipment; and Performing RCA (Root Cause Analysis) and FMEA (Failure Mode and Effect Analysis) using both basic techniques (5 Whys) and advanced RCA methodologies (TapRoot, Apollo, Kepner Tregoe, and Ishikawa). Must possess a Vibration Analyst ISO CAT III Certification.
TRAVEL REQT: 30% international travel is required to various and unanticipated company sites.
HOURS: 45 hours per week, Monday - Friday
