TITLE: Reliability Manager
LOCATION: Charlevoix, MI
DUTIES: Lead and direct the maintenance activities with respect to reliability within Maintenance Department. Administer all aspects of planned maintenance activities and root cause analysis to determine action plans to improve reliability. Control and continuously improve all condition based, predictive and maintenance inspections, their techniques, plans and execution. Drive reliability improvements in the plant to achieve world class MTBF results. Direct, supervise, and assign duties to predictive maintenance supervisor and selective inspection technician. Update existing plant maintenance and preventative maintenance systems, troubleshoot any equipment and/or machinery malfunctions to determine root cause(s), and develop corrective action plans to rectify the problems and improve the reliability. Create weekly and monthly plant equipment condition status reports. Evaluate cost reduction opportunities. Conduct technical reviews of vendors and contractors to ensure that they are capable of providing the equipment, machinery, and/or required services. EOE
REQTS: Must have a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field plus five (5) years of experience in the position offered, or as a Maintenance Engineer, Reliability Engineer, or a related position in a large cement production manufacturing facility. Must have five (5) years of experience with all of the following: Analyzing vibration spectrums and time waveforms to confirm machine defects and patterns in motors and rotating equipment; Setting up equipment in a vibration software database and ensuring required point parameters; Balancing rotating equipment up to 3600rpm turning speed; Reviewing oil analysis reports to determine equipment health; Defining problems with cement production equipment, collecting data, establishing facts, drawing conclusions, and developing action plans to prevent recurrence of issues; Using RtDuet software to analyze equipment stops per defined trigger criteria; Applying FMEA (Failure Mode Effect Analysis) technique for critical plant equipment; and Using SAP, PI, and Autocad manufacturing software.
Must possess a Vibration Analysis Certification.
