Established principally in Ontario, Canada, St. Marys CBM is the building materials division of St. Marys Cement. CBM is a leading employer, producer, and supplier of Ready-Mix Concrete and related products.

CBM has more than 450 Ready-Mix trucks operating out of 40 plants. Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Supervising unionized hourly workforces and maintaining a high level of employee morale at the plants.
  • Supporting the labour relations process through maintaining the applicable .collective bargaining agreements and employee code of conduct.
  • Managing and coordinating production, storage, and general distribution in accordance with policies and procedures as established by the Operations Manager.
  • Managing customer and internal relationships (sales, QC etc.).
  • Planning, organizing, and batching concrete loads/deliveries.
  • Implementing, training, administering, and complying with environmental, health & safety and quality system policies and procedures.
  • Performing concrete testing as per CSA & ASTM standards.
  • Completing paperwork and reporting as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • At least two years post-secondary education (college or university).
  • Previous ready-mix or similar industry experience is an asset.
  • Excellent people management, problem solving, decision-making and communication skills.
  • Fundamental knowledge of computer software (Windows, Word, Excel).
