Billing Supervisor

We are seeking a Billing Supervisor to lead and oversee our Shared Services Center (SSC) billing team across North America. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate, timely, and efficient invoicing while driving process improvements and maintaining strong internal partnerships across the business.

The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in billing operations within a multi-system environment and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative setting. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality billing outcomes that support our customer experience and financial performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop the SSC billing team, fostering a high-performance and accountable culture
• Oversee end-to-end billing processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and efficiency of invoice creation
• Manage billing operations across multiple systems (e.g., Command, Apex) and their integration into SAP
• Identify, assess, and resolve billing issues, minimizing business impact and implementing long-term solutions
• Partner cross-functionally with Sales Support, Credit & Collections, and Operations to support business needs
• Establish and maintain internal controls to proactively detect and resolve discrepancies
• Ensure compliance with SOX controls and recommend process enhancements as needed
• Support month-end close activities, including accurate and timely reporting

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Minimum 5 years of billing experience, preferably in a manufacturing or multi-system environment
• Prior experience supervising or leading a team is preferred

• Strong knowledge of SAP
• Experience with Command and/or Apex systems is an asset
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
• Effective communication and presentation skills (written & verbal)
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Highly organized with strong coordination and follow-through capabilities
