Summary/Job Scope:

We are seeking a Loader Operator to join our Ready Mix Division. This position Operates articulated rubber tired front end loader equipped with front mounted hydraulically powered bucket or forks to lift and transport bulk materials to and from storage or processing areas, to feed conveyors, hoppers, or chutes, and to load trucks and load customers vehicles by performing the following duties.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform all aspects of job following company safety rules.
  • Operate truck and/or bucket scale, push up stock piles.
  • Perform weekly inventory of block and fuel and move blocks from forms to stock pile. Utilizing block, make or break down aggregate bins.
  • Fill out sales slips. Collect payment for COD's.
  • Perform routine maintenance on loader such as lubricating, fueling, and cleaning.
  • Perform plant maintenance tasks as required.
  • Assigned to projects as needed.

 

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Previous experience or training in heavy equipment operation preferred
  • Mathematical skills to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Basic computer skills for inventory tracking; proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is preferred
  • Valid Driver’s license

Salary Range: $ 30.00  - $ 35.00
